Hand signed by Dali in 1975
This is from a well known suite of works called:
“Imaginations of Objects of the Future”
There is a well known and very sought after photograph of Dali called "Cyclops".
The photo was taken by Phillipe Halsman in 1952.
This limited edition work was obviously inspired by the same subject matter 23 years later.
This is a mixed media work that includes lithography and hand etching.
The American edition size was small, only 250 and as they were printed back in 1975, it
is difficult to find one in good condition that has never been framed, but that is what
we have available, a work that is still in excellent condition and has not be affected by
an old framing job from the 1970’s. Condition is an important factor in these works.
The world wide edition was 600, so these works turn up in Paris and the UK from time to time,
but are much more expensive.
Paper size is 22” x 30” and is archival paper.
