Part of a two piece suite called "Fleurs Surrealistes" Salvador Dali created this colorful image for his wife Gala, and then the companion piece called Vanishing Face (A surreal portrait of Dali himself) which is also listed on this site. For many years, Gala and Dali put on fashion shows or made fashion statements with unusual creations, many of which are used today by Lady Gaga the musician.
